ARCHITECTURE / DATA FLOW

Know where the audio goes.
Know who can act.

Use this reference flow to define the boundary for your environment. Keep source recordings, processing copies and control evidence distinct.

01 / REFERENCE FLOW

Five stages. Explicit boundaries.

Assure reference data flow / deployment design, not a running environment
  1. 01 / CALLS

Authorized test runner → voice platform

Known synthetic audio enters the agreed Cloud9 call path. Test scheduling and call-initiation permissions are separate from recording access.

  2. 02 / RECORDINGS

Voice platform → recorder → archive

Capture produces the source recording; archive ingestion preserves the record under the firm’s policy. Call, recorder and archive identifiers link the stages.

  3. 03 / PROCESSING

    Scoped retrieval → comparison

Read the authorized test recording and metadata. Inspect expected legs, markers and timestamps. Place temporary processing copies within the agreed data boundary.

  4. 04 / EVIDENCE

Results → evidence store → reviewer

Store the run context, check outcomes, references and exceptions. Limit raw audio duplication; grant reviewer and export rights deliberately.

  5. 05 / RESPONSE

Exception → owner → linked retest

Route the minimum useful detail to the agreed response workflow. Preserve the original failure, remedial change, fresh run and review decision.

02 / CONTROL PLANE

Separate permissions from possession.

01

Least-privilege roles

Test operator: schedule authorized calls. Connector identity: scoped recording reads. Reviewer: inspect outcomes and acknowledge exceptions. Administrator: manage configuration and access. Define export and deletion rights separately.

02

Tenant separation

Scope identities, configuration, source references and evidence by firm. Require authorization checks at every access boundary and test cross-tenant denial. Agree the isolation model before connecting any environment.

03

Retention and legal hold

Define separate schedules for source recordings, temporary audio, evidence and operational logs. The firm’s archive remains responsible for its configured retention and holds. Legal hold must override ordinary deletion where applicable.

03 / DEPLOYMENT CONVERSATION

Choose the boundary before the topology.

01

Customer-controlled execution

Discuss running test and retrieval components within the firm’s environment, with scoped egress and evidence access. Decide who patches the runner, rotates credentials and monitors availability.

02

Private hosted environment

Discuss a dedicated hosting boundary, approved region and network path. Agree access administration, encryption and key ownership, backups, incident response and data return.

03

Hybrid control workflow

Discuss local audio handling with selected metadata and evidence shared for review. Specify what crosses the boundary and how reviewers retrieve source records without broad archive access.

04 / DECISIONS TO CAPTURE

Make the operating agreement explicit.

These are deployment options to scope with the team, not a claim that every topology is available. Record location, subprocessors, access roles, retention, deletion, backup recovery and incident contacts belong in the evaluation agreement.

Agree how consent and test announcements work, which endpoints are authorized and how tests stop during an incident. Keep credentials in approved secret-management systems, never in exported evidence or website forms.
